Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?  Jesus said, "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'  This is the first and great commandment.  The second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'  On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." (Mt. 22:36-40)

  1. BulletSermon on the Mount

The Sermon on the Mount, found in Matthew 5-7, is the “constitution of God’s Kingdom.” It is the litmus test to measure spiritual development and ministry impact.  The foundational call in the Sermon on the Mount is to live out the 8 beatitudes as we pursue obedience. The beatitudes define love, godliness and spiritual maturity that pleases God.

These beatitudes describe the lifestyle that is the core reality of God’s Kingdom. Matthew 5-7 describes the process that allows the 8 beatitudes to come to maturity.
